2019/20 G Class Tyres
Hi
I’m in the UK and have a G350d on order due in May although I don’t have a build date as yet.
Yesterday I had a trip out to a dealership to see a vehicle that was for sale as I’ve only seen one New G in real life.
The vehicle in question was a G350d with only a night package on it but I noticed that the tyres on the G were all Pirelli however the spare was a Continental. I just wondered if this was normal?
Thank you

Yes, my 500 was also delivered with Pirellis and one Continental. A bit annoying if you´re a little OCD because at least my spare is rotated so the Continental text is visible through the rear window.

It seems a little crazy as most people who spend this kind of money on a car would not put an odd branded tyre across an axel so why give it as a spare? Old stock of continental tyres?
