My Initial Build - Opinions?
Hi Guys - after 4 hours (thx for the Build feature not working on website), I think I am ready to submit my build to my sales guy. I am honestly still leaning towards 550 vs 63 as i am driving around town and gas mileage is better and not sure a second faster matters given i do own supercars and one of them i am at the gas station every trip (720s) LOL.
Ok here we go... please give me all your honest opinions and its worth noting that the only truck I have ever owned were range rovers and i have never dealt with the MB brand lol. uncharted territory for me.
here you go (couple of items i am grappling with)
Paint: Magno Black (056) or designo Plat Black Metallic (046) or Magnetite Black Metallic (183)
Wheel: 20 inch AMG multi Spoke Wheel Black (RJ5)
Interior Upholstery: Bengal Red/Black (957)
Trim: AMG Catrbon Fiber Trim (ZG6) or G Manufaktur Black piano Lacquer trim (ZG2)
Packages: AMG Line (DG1); Night Package Plus (DE9) and G Manfuktur Interior Package Plus (DD5)
Suspension w/adaptive Damping (A20)
Widescreen Instrument Cluster (J25)
Sport Steering Wheel - flattened bottom section (L58) OR multi steering wheel in two tone nappa (ZL3)

Build seems standard. Nothing sticks out.
I will suggest you consider the G63 though. Yes it’s “only” one second faster but as you should know, numbers do not accurately convey the driving experience.
the G63 acceleration is far more dramatic as the car’s suspension heaves. It’s a very unique feeling.

Colors are very personal so I will not comment on those, but I just ordered a G550 so if that is what you want go for it - I have a Porsche GTS as my go fast car so I know where you are coming from. My build is very similar other than colors so I think you will enjoy it!

In the UK you can’t combine black wheels with magnetite black so make sure you test to see if you can wherever you are. This may help knock one colour choice off the list .
