G550 order
I am living in north California where most local dealers add 10k - 20k markup to G550 orders. I also speak with a couple dealers in Oregon and one of them are able to price at MSRP for my order. They asked for $5000 deposit and most of the process/communication are handled online.
anything to watch out for an out-of-state order like this? Would the wait time in Oregon be much longer than California?

I would ensure the deposit is fully refundable and have them put an expected delivery date on the invoice. Try to assess if they actually know when they will get yours - ask how many they got last year and how many are on the list.
