Ship holding in Emden?
I'm in a new phase of my order now - moving from obsessively tracking build, to obsessively tracking delivery 
My car is on the "Grand Vega", which left Bremerhaven on the 14th. However, unlike other ships I've watched with other deliveries on - the journey has included only one stop, and appears to have terminated at Emden, which is only about ~120 miles from Bremerhaven. It's been there for two days now.
I know VW loads cars at Emden, but has anyone else seen this? Would they be taking my G off and reloading it onto another carrier?

They are just loading more cars etc. in Emden. VW, Audi and others ship from Emden. If you have a premium membership on one of the tracking sites you can see all the planned port calls. Emden is not the final stop. It takes a few days to load. They do not unloaded and reload on a different vessel. Here's a really good documentary that shows the scale of what's involved in shipping cars etc. across the oceans. Really well made and gives good insight into the whole process.

Just watching this. I had to use a VPN from here, its very interesting. The guys/ girls who organise loading and unloading must be soooooo stressed- wow.... not to mention the Captain!
