Yeah, that’d do it - crank the MF, and shove the cost the bad side of the residual. Thankfully, here in WA, we “just” pay sales tax each month on the lease monthly fee.

financing guy at Mercedes quoted me 20k down 4 year lease 12,000 miles for 2400 a month. Which I am ok with tax right off
Tax write off or not why would you be ok with those terms? Not good...

What MF and residual value did they use to get to those numbers?

What is so bad about it? In TX you pay the taxes up front at 8% so the total of the vehicle is 195.

Nothing. Just sounds like your lease rate is 6 percent.

I think it just under 6 but yeah it’s a little higher than buying interest rate but at the end of the 2400 sounds better than 2700. I will found out the residual. Sounds like I still have a month to go. Still not on a boat.

MsRP 179k
sales tax 14k 8%
total. 193k

down payment 20k

monthly 42 payment $2,464

mileage 12k per year

residual 96,660

42 payment 103,488

comes to 200,088

7k in interest over 4 years seems a little high

6.25 on the taxes not 8% so that might change it.

Money Factors are brutal on G63's and most AMG's. You should be able to do 72 month financing in the mid to high 2's with pristine credit with 5% down or low to mid 3's with 0% down. Congrats on the 40th, I bought myself a GTR PRO for my 40th! Leasing it wouldn't make sense unless you can write it off on 99% of AMG's. Great build!

No way by 3/10. My G class is still at the port in Brunswick, ready for a carrier since last Friday, going to Charlotte which is only 4 hours away. G classes and GT's go by special carrier so they take longer. At least that is what I am told as of today....

Johnnyderm posted this. I had it saved as a screenshot. I guess it could be used as a guide. I’m sure it will all vary greatly but it’s interesting to keep an inventory of how your delivery goes. Once I get my production date I will be counting down the days according to this post lol.

Probably on the same ship. It is snowing here in Charlotte and the roads are wet. I am sure they will use that as an excuse to delay it further. Interestingly it is further from Brunswick to ATL then Brunswick to Charlotte by about 40 miles so go figure. Considering they have my GT that I traded along with a check I am not happy. At least the ship did capsize and sink 4200 cars that are still sitting in the bottom of the harbor.

Anyway enjoy yours.

crazy If someone pulled up at the dealership with 25-30k over today or tomorrow. Would your dealership bite? I’m taking the day off once mine arrives

Well I don't care what they do with it. I just reviewed the order again, and they at some point "accidentally" deleted my A20 Adaptive Suspension option. So between this **** up and the bull**** price increase, I'm out. ****ing pissed I wasted about 5 months waiting for this **** now.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that! . Are they doing nothing to make it right? (I’m holding my breath, obviously)

So far they've given us two options:

Option 1: Another allocation that delivers likely in June. That screws me on a major trip I was planning on taking to Wyoming with it....and of course screws me out of another 2-5k of depreciation on my trade in.
Option 2: A "stronger than time edition" for MSRP but 10k over our current spec....and in the most hideous color combo I've ever seen Mojave Silver + Tan Interior........

I told them to do better, so he's talking to his manager to see what they can do. But I'm not expecting anything at this point. MERC corporate decided to make the change...and didn't tell anybody that they deleted it from our build. Not sure how you can trust a company like that.

Any dealer anywhere will charge a premium if it was an ordered car that someone back out of. It is a rare instance where you can buy one off the lot without a premium. This is because the dealerships in California are offering $5,000-$10,000 to purchase one from a dealership that someone back out on. Therefore, the dealerships feel justified in charging a premium. They are also selling for higher than list at Manheim. However, if it is ordered there is no premium but the wait in the southeast region is 7-8 months for a G550 and 12 months for G63. They are so sought after that even the director level and above Daimler, employees who usually get whatever they want, could not get one as company vehicles for themselves until a year after production began.

I purchased one that someone back out on and paid a small premium even though I have personal relationships with the owners of both the local dealerships and at Daimler. I could have purchased a used 2019 with $17,000 miles and they were going to sell it to me at "list" price on the sticker. They don't care if it is a professional athlete and an executive vice president of BoFA if you want one that is available you are paying some kind of a premium. If someone tells you on this website otherwise, they are extremely lucky or "puffing"

The GM and Hendrick Mercedes told me he has a G63 available with 100 miles on it (that is used) that the premium is between $15k-25k if someone is interested.
