LA Arrival / VPC / Dealership timings?
So, after 10 months of waiting my G63 is nearly here. It's about 2 days out of LA at the moment on the "Grand Vega", which I've obsessively tracked since it left Bremerhaven. I've even got the webcam pictures of her going through the Panama Canal to underscore my obsession ;p. The virtual shutdown of the PNW is, at least, making it much easier to be a one-car family with a short range electric car. (Trying hard to find the silver linings this week).
What's the process / typical timing for the various stages as the ship approaches LA upto, and including, me being able to pick the car up from the dealership in Seattle? What actually happens at the VPC for MB?

The ship docks, the cars are unloaded, there is a customs inspection.
If there are any port upgrades or accessories these are done.
Cars coded Priority 1 with a customers name have priority for truck assignment.
Generally speaking, your G wagen should be at your delearship a week after the ship docks.
