CarPlay sound setting
Hey guys,
i can’t find where i can manually adjust the fader, bass and tremble when my iphone is plugged in Carplay mode.
I can do it when in Bluetooth mode
i can do it in radio mode.
Because all the 3 setting are all independant from each other.
How can you acces it in Carplay mode ? 🤦♂️
Which NTG are you running? Post a pic if you’re not sure. 5.1 is different from 5.5 so it makes a difference.
If I recall correctly, the easiest way on 5.1 is to plug the phone in and let it go to CarPlay home. Unplug phone, pull down on comand knob and you should see the treble note on the menu bar that pops up.
On 5.5, you’ll do the same plug and unplug, but the CarPlay menu is on the right side.
Again, this is the easiest way. There are other ways to do it. Let me know if that helps. If not, I can send you a video as I have both systems on my cars.

here a picture of mine. This a 2018. Last of the old model. Stupid its this hard to adjust the sound setting when i’m using Apple Carplay. I tried plugging and unplugging. I dont get it
No worries. Go to the Mercedes icon, select it, then move you comand knob down to the treble note with the speaker icon. In the photo below, it is greyed out because I was in camera mode. Make sure car is on and you’re not on the using your phone on other applications.
