I'm in process of placing the order of g63 amg my dealer is confuse about the steering wheel button please look attached is it standard or part of options?. My dealer is saying it is part of z10 package called tIncreased top speed
but I did little research and it looks button in read circle
like it is not part of of z10 please suggest
It's not part of any package, it's a standard feature on 2020 G63's. HOWEVER if you choose heated steering wheel the option gets deleted. Choose wisely :-). I chose heated steering because on the east coast and it gets cold.. I heard the buttons are redundant because the center console has quick buttons for the same features. I also heard that the buttons feel "cheesy" because of how they are fitted, a bit loose.
If you live in a cold climate, make sure to choose that heated wheel option. On my last mb, I chose the AMG wheel instead of the heated wheel and in the winter I'll drive my wife's GLE as much as I can to take advantage of that option. My incoming G has the heated wheel, didn't think twice.
One can also not get the heated steering wheel with the optional wood steering wheels but since I live in FL and like the wood it was an easy decision.
I have it on my G63. I live in California and I don't need the heated steering wheels. However, these buttons are redundant because you can get all their functions otherwise.
