G Class interior transplant
Hello
I may buy this G soon: https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1760832276.htm/ to restomod it and make it look like a 2019 one, as it would just need a fresh paint job, some styling stick-on parts, and nice rims, maybe brakes)
And I'd like to know if one of you guys already done an interior transplant (buying interior of a recent G, probably wrecked, and put it into an old one. I could always do it with a bit of bolts and welding, but the part that concerns me is the infotainment system: can I just buy one off ebay and plug it in, or is it connected to a thousand sensors everywhere?

People have done minor things such as seat switches and steering wheel
been seeing some videos of a fully 2019 g inside a 2014 g including all ambient lights, vents and gauge cluster.
I would think as more and more time goes on we’ll see it a common mod but right now with limited cars and parts it’s costly
