Ya if your dealer will agree to MSRP pricing whatever that may be when the pricing is officially announced, I'd say that's reasonable. In Canada right now, the wait is 18-24 months. So crazy.

Agreement is msrp at the dealership, so I am not worried about the added up-charge Mercedes will be charging for a newer model year and wireless charging. I just wanna get the ball rolling.

Thoughts?
Dealers have not received allocations yet so they are starting request lists - the dealer I am getting mine from has 3 people in line now and the next would wait about 9 months. Every dealer gets a different number of allocations so you can ask them how many they had in 2019 since some were pulled back this year due to the plant closure. And they had 2 price increases in the US last year, both around $3k, so expect at least one this year at that amount.

Is there any indication as to when they will expect first allocations for the 2021? June? July?

My dealer told me last week, my new G63 order's allocation should be released on July and it will be 2021 model. The estimate for the production is in October and the delivery will be in Nov/Dec.

I test drove the first 2020 G my dealer here in FL received, which was in Dec. and it had a Sept. build and July allocation so that seems to be correct.

Sounds great, it will be my holiday surprising. Now, I am curious the new wireless charging will be located behind the cup holder or inside of the center glove box.

Yes we received our 1st allocation of 2021 G 550/G63 PO's to fulfill orders on the 12th of June. Production is planned for Sept build dates with estimated November delivery/launch ETA. Official base MSRP will not be released until launch date has been set. Option pricing is already locked in as many of you see from the Order Guide being distributed.

Thanks for verifying and keeping this thread accurate - when the MSRPs are known someone can post them here. Question: if someone wanted to take delivery in May/June of 2021 (G550) I assume they would need to wait until Jan. or so for an allocation with that delivery time frame?

Yes when sales operations releases 2021 G-Class MSRP pricing I can certainly post it. Answer: Yes if you're looking to take delivery in May/June you would need a P.O.(Production Order) that gets built in March/April. So you need to have a P.O. secured and configured to your spec by Feb/March at the latest, since they typically "lock" the P.O. to any changes 45-60 days before scheduled production.
