Installing led star 2004 G500
I’m installing a led star to my 2004 G500 I need help on finding the hole in the fire wall to run my switch into the cab I do not want to drill and I can’t find the existing hole any suggestions?

Would't you want to tap into maybe the foglight circuit (if it accepts LEDs, which it may not then you will need to install ohm load resistors).
Cleaner install and not drilling into the firewall for a simple switch.

One of the firewall pass-thru points is at the very corner upper right side. There’s a round black rubber sleeve covering the bundle of wires at the entry point, if you slowly pull the lip out of the firewall, you’ll gain access. I circled the area in yellow for you, Good luck

If it were me, I would tap into the parking light circuit so that the star is illuminated when the lights are on. This circuit is easily accessible on a 2004 behind either the left or right front headlights. The extra load from the LED lighted star will not bother the parking light circuit on a 2004. No need for kludgey resistors or to penetrate the firewall.
