I have the 4K dual channel Blackvue as well, initially hooked up to a hotspot (extra cell phone) but not anymore. I got it because of the resolution and also the parking mode, but for it to really work it seems you have to spend the extra on a dedicated battery pack. Otherwise it tends to drain your battery if you use parking mode more than once or twice a week. Nowadays I just have it on when driving for those uninsured or road rage motorists and scam artists.
Another weak spot is that if you hardwire it and have parking mode turned on there's no way to turn the camera off when parked at home in the garage unless you unplug it, which can't be good for the plug doing it all the time.
You can also get those "Uber" dash cams that show inside the vehicle as well as outside... there's some video on YT of people finding out their mechanics stole some change and loose items when they dropped off their car for service.
