What rust prevention measures were taken with the new G?
Anyone know if the new ones will rust like the old ones? The bottom of mine is coated in really thick, black, undercoating which looks more robust than previous gen. I’m Ordering a second for my wife to DD but we have tons of winter salt and seeing the rust threads from previous gen makes me nervous. Did MB publish any info on rust prevention?

I am guessing that the new vehicle is built as all modern Mercedes are built. There is no indication that modern Mercedes (aside from late models of the previous generation G-class) are prone to rusting.
