Carbon Fiber exterior trim for G

Has anyone ever ordered one of the carbon fiber parts off of Alibaba? A buddy of mine swears by the quality and you all know the prices are cheap. He claims that they make them for many of the expensive sellers and distributors in US and slap their name on it and charge 10x more. I’m a little skeptical but after searching through alibaba. It’s tempting.

There is slightly higher risk that you are buying rejects or untested knockoffs, but as long as you purchase through alibaba and another payment services provider with buyer protection, you are good.

Before anyone jumps on the "made in China bad" bandwagon, most of the "American" and "Italian" branded carbon fiber kits are made in China anyways. Even fancy exotics have their OEM carbon come from China.

I have the door level trim kit on my 13' - it's held up well for the past 9 months and looks great https://www.ebay.com/itm/G-CLASS-AMG...item42193c5ca6

I matched it with the ebay door handle covers...... https://www.ebay.com/itm/AutoTecknic...item4b2909ba17

I've ordered from a vendor on alibaba a few times. All my orders are Dry Carbon, which has higher price than the Wet carbon. Both quality and price are great. The vendor name is: Shenzhen Eurotech Motorsport Trade Co., the contact person is Eric, his email: eric_eurotech@hotmail.com,. However, keep it in mind, because the number of flights between China and US are very limited, the air fright is not cheap, if you are not in hurry, it's cheaper to ship by sea, but it take around 8 weeks to receive it. If you do contact this company, tell Eric Tony from Houston sent you, and ask him for more discount.
