Can anyone confirm current comand software version for the G 63

Had my G63 model year 2019 in for service a few days ago. Car is just over a year old. The command software version that was on the vehicle when it was delivered was 04.77.02.10. Dealer states they did the upgrade and that is the latest version. Can anyone confirm a newer version installed on their G 63?

I couldn’t find where the COMAND version is listed. I thought it would be under the System > Info menu but that just took me to the online manual. Is there a way to check the version number without bringing the car in for service?

Thanks for the reply! Appreciate your help. The way that I found the command software version was to go home on the comand screen and scroll over to vehicle. Once highlighting vehicle, press and hold the circular scroll wheel down for at least 10 seconds and the service menu should come up. I believe the first option in the service menu is software version. if you select that, the top line should give you the current command version that’s installed on your G 63.Let me know if you have any luck finding it. Appreciate the time.

Wow, I had no idea there was a hidden menu there!

I don’t know if I can exactly help because we don’t have the exact same model, but I can at least provide you with a data point for your investigation.

On my 2020 G550 (built in February 2020, delivered April 2020) the software version is 04.80.00.20

That’s a huge help. Thanks for taking the time. Glad you found out about that menu. I’ll have to do a little more digging but I do believe that the comand systems are the same in the G550 and the G63. In Any event it’s a big help. I appreciate it. Congrats on your new G550. If you’re anything like me you’re deeply in love. Mine was delivered a year ago July 4.
