Auxiliary Battery Malfunction
In searching around online, it sounds like the auxiliary battery controls the start/stop feature. I have a 2018 G550 so not too many driving aids.
Appt with dealership on Tuesday to look at it.
I drive the car 3-4x/week. It hasn't been sitting for a long period of time.
Small frustrating nagging issues with this car (locking pin kept getting detached from the door locks requiring the dealership to take the panel down and reattach it, had a very odd high oil level warning months after the dealership changed the oil, they said they overfilled it, not sure why it took months for it to be an issue, and now an auxiliary battery failure after barely 24 months of ownership). Nothing serious but not items I would want to put up with outside of the warranty window.

BTW, there are simple plug in solutions to eliminate the auto start/stop pestilence.

The door lock pin was a pain in the *** too, so since then, I never touch them and only open and close them electronically.
The high oil level was fixed pretty quickly. I drove around for 6 months since the last oil change before this light went on. They told me some BS about the oil expanding as it gets used, or something like that. So they just removed some of the oil, and it has been fine since then.
I have 2 new issues now. The paint peeling off my rain gutters, and my tailgate door has serious rust on top of it where I would have never known to look if they hadn't pointed it out to me when I brought it in for the rain gutters. They are giving me a whole new tailgate, and replacing the rain gutters, both as warranty items. I am hoping to get all the glitches out of the way before the warranty runs out a year from now, but I'm starting to get a little nervous.

Been a bad week for our cars
G550 has the battery problem
CTR ended up with a nail in the right rear tire
At this rate I'm going to be riding my daughter's tricycle to work soon.....
