If I was going to "guess" - the end of October could be "possible" if Federal approval happens this month... but even if that does happen release end-Oct like chances are about 1-out-of-4.... release at end-of-November 3-out-of-4... something entirely different happens, always a possibility..

Release of 2021
My G63 arrived off the boat on 9/22 and has been sitting at the Brunswick dock since. I was told October 5th delivery date when we placed build but that’s surely been blown out the backside. Dealers ( Mercedes Dallas ) playing dumb. The level of incompetence at MB is astounding.

Does anyone know of a higher up at MBUSA who could provide some insight into this issue, of if it’s a US Govt. issue, what department/person to reach out to. I’m fine with being patient but I need information to know that the *** hats at my dealership aren’t just sitting on their thumbs and whistling nonsense to me.

the “scheduled” launch isn’t until later but it all comes down to EPA certification date. Some have been way ahead of schedule some have not. 21 GLE/GLS are over a month ahead, so much that there aren’t even hardly any to ship.
Internal projections point to early November but possibly late this month.

My dealer's inventory manager updated to me below for the Model year 2021:
"The inventory Last year the production of the MY20 was late in the Fall and it was launched at the beginning of November, but this year the cars are already arriving at the VPC. They have the launch estimated for the Fall, but no specific month. We could guess it will be sometime in October."

2020 Still waiting to be delivered
2020 are still on the boats heading to USA. 2021 G wagen will not be delivered to customers before 2020 is delivered. 2020 G wagen are "Priority 1". Salesman told me today that 2021 won't be available for delivery till December.
