Anyone ever run into an issue where their G doesn’t fit in their garage? It fits in ours, but a friend had me test it at their house and it was way too tall. What can you do in that situation!? Can the car lower itself with suspension?
I tested both of my garages with a G 550 and it barely fit height wise in my single car garage and had no problem in my 2 car garage. I drove my friends 2020 G 63 and it fit also, same as the G 550. Nothing you can do to lower it unless you modify the suspension.

I live in a condo and it has horizontal plastic bars that hang down for the back area where my spots are. It is marked at 6' 7" albeit I measured it and it was a little less so my wife and I got a ladder and moved it up a couple chain links to be sure it clears, which it barely does so it must have been low.

I don’t think I would want to let air out of my tires every time I wanted to pull in my garage. I have an air compressor in my garage, but what a pain. I am going to tie up the cord on the emergency release on my garage door opener.
Owning a G is why I had our new house built with 8' tall garage doors and 13' garage ceilings. The door tracks go up to the ceiling and the openers are side mounted as well so everything is totally clear when the doors are up. This configuration allowed me to have a lift my garage as well.
Anyone able to measure their G63 on 22's at the highest point? I know the book says 76 but I'm curious with the roof rails and anything extra on the roof sensor wise that changes that?

I’ll admit I went to the garage deck at my work with a tape measure to make sure it really was 7 feet clearance. Fortunately my garage won’t be an issue.
if the vehicle wouldn’t fit in the garage that would be a deal breaker for me. Only option is to modify the suspension lower an inch or so.

That’s why I took a G 550 to my house before I ordered the G 63. It’s close in my single car garage, I’ll have to tie up the emergency cord on the garage door opener. It’s not a problem in my 2 car garage.
I saw this at my neighbor's house the other day. The roof repair guy doesn't have time to worry about his van fitting inside garages. He uses an interesting technique :-J He drives his van into the garage, and If the ladder gets ripped off his roof, then he knows it won't fit. If the ladder doesn't get ripped off his roof, then he's golden. Works every time
I have a security camera, and I reviewed the video. The guy didn't even think about the van fitting inside the garage until he was half way inside. Then he stopped, rolled down his window, stuck his head out, looked up at the clearance and proceeded. LOL
BTW, my neighbor told me the guy was an hour late.

With a 3 inch Thor springs lift and FrontRunner roof rack, I'm right at 7'3" high at the rear.

We had a Land Cruiser, and we used to put a rooftop cargo box on top when we'd travel in the summer. It was so tall that we couldn't park in normal garages, parking structures, etc. We even had to be careful going through a lot of fast food drive throughs (gulp). What amazed me was how easily my wife and I would forget about the storage box. We knew it was only a matter of time before we'd forget and hit something :-J We decided to sell it before we hit something. I figured other people must have this problem, so I searched around for solutions. I couldn't find anything.

Ha ha... yep, I try and remember how tall the vehicle is, especially with the roof top tent and LPG tank added. Came close at a fast food drive-through one time, matter of about 2 inches from their overhang.

I hit a ****ing 8'2" sign leaving a garage the other day (luckily it was on chains) and hit only my jerry can. The sign coming in was 8'2" at that height I have about 7" of clearance, but apparently the sign leaving had a banked surface.

If you want, you can pull a tarp over the awning edges or tell the company workers about it.
