Brabus Rear Roof Spoiler . Help!

Hello fellow G Owners,

Anyone on here know or have experience with mounting the Brabus rear roof spoiler? Also how it’s wired to the brake light?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

hi,

how did you end up attaching the spoiler?

did you screw itbin or did you use tape/silicone?

also, how did the wiring work out ?

I am trying to do the same- both rear and front spoiler, and any direction will help.

thanks

hey so you have to drill 3 holes on your roof for the rear spoiler. One for each mounting point. You bolt the spoiler to the roof via the 3 holes. Before bolting it to the roof, run the wire through one of the holes you drill, down the passenger rear panel side to connect to the passenger side brake light. Some panels might need to come off in the trunk passenger side. Make sure you seal the holes properly so water doesn’t leak through your roof.

thank you for sharing. At least that clarifies that silicon glue is not going to work. I’ll let you know how it goes. I was trying to see if I could get it done without taking the headliner off, but it’s more secure with the screws for sure. How much did the body shop charge for the drilling and wiring ?

thanks
