MY2019 G550 Infotainment System Re-Boot

Yesterday, as I was leaving my home, I had driven less than 1/4 mile (less than 2 minutes after starting the vehicle) when the infotainment system screen went dark for about 5 seconds and then re-appeared in the sequence it does when starting the car (beginning with MB star, then the distraction warning and then proceeding to the media and navigation displays). It seemed as if something had caused the system to re-boot -- maybe a software update? But there were no other messages or alerts that appeared on either the infotainment screen or on the digital instrument display. This has never happened before in 12 months. I checked the menu Settings and automatic software updates is enabled, but there's no information regarding version numbers or dates, or if an update has occurred. Has anyone else experienced this?
BTW, MB hasn't been able to find the money to publish a Comand system user supplement for the G yet (or if they have, they're keeping it a secret). Do the guides from any other MB models apply to the G?

2018 G63
My 2020 G63 did just about the same thing except the reboot wasn’t for about 20 mins. I even shut the truck off but it didn’t reboot at that point.
