Winter settings on MY ‘19 & newer G63

Hi y’all,

Just curious what custom settings you are using pertaining to snow/icy conditions aside from switching to slippery mode.

Thanks!
Ray

If you're not already habitually disabling the Active Lane Keep Assist each time you start your vehicle, by all means do so for winter driving.

With ALKA disabled and a good set of tires (mine are Yokohama Geolandars) I'm ready for Colorado winter. If you make your living on the road and change tire sets seasonally, Blizzaks are among the best, IMO. If you ever have a chance to do a car club ice gymkhana on a frozen lake, go for it - you can try out all the drive modes with impunity.

Being north of the border, dedicated winter tires are a must. I’m on Michellin Pilot Alpins at this time of season.

I have no experience with the Alpins, but I ran Michellin Defenders on 2 SUVs and really liked them. Went with the Yoks only because of the mountain/snowflake rating on an A/T class tire that I use year-round.
