W463 G350d 2019 inoperative messages
I have a G350 w463 (2019 September), with a strange warning message problem since the winter of 2019. I took it to my dealership’s service twice, they said this was a software issue and updated it twice. (Funny enough the dealership had received multiple g classes with the same issue)
Sometimes when driving the following messages pop up:
1. Active Lane Keeping Assist inoperative
2. Active Distance Assist inoperative
3. Active Brake Assist Functions limited see owners manual
4. Blind Spot Assist inoperative
5. ESP(icon) inoperative see owners manual
They deactivate the ESP, distronic and start/stop function, the buttons for these dont seem to work either. However, they clear and all functions seem to work as soon as the engine is turned off and restarted.
The problem seemed to be fine for a while after dealership visits. But the messages returned shortly after. I managed to cope from 2019 december to 2020 march, however i kept getting the warnings once every one or two weeks.
Somehow I did not have a single warning message during the summer.
The messages have returned since this autumn (2020) and they are much more frequent. I had it six times today! They were all very short drives and the car was mostly cold, that might explain.
I have no technical knowledge of cars so I was a bit afraid to unscrew the brake pad box (as other posts suggest). I hope you guys can help me out. To be honest I even shared this forum with the service manager of the dealership.
Thank you all!
