Recalibrating Speedo For Larger Tires
Hello All,
I just received a 21 G63 and am getting a set of 463 Industries 20" set for winter in January when they are back in stock. I am thinking about getting larger more aggressive tires for the vehicle with that set. Is there anyway to recalibrate the speedometer for the larger size. I tried to search but couldnt find anything.

Speedo recal should be possible with a MB SDS, but I would check with the dealer. Likely he'll want to be paid an hour's shop rate every time he does a 30 second recal. Or you can just live with the error. One inch increase in tire diameter is about 3% low in speed (65 mph will really be 67 mph), and 50K odometer miles will be 51.5K. Probably not enough to lose sleep or $$ over.
