Have allocation reserved for 2021 G550. Currently spec'd with standard macchiato beige/black leather with natural grain walnut. Considering G Manufaktur Nappa (Black/bronze stitching) as our thought is that black will be more durable and age better in the long run. My wife's first choice is macchiato beige but if it will not age well or withstand daily use, would then prefer the black/bronze (to complement natural grain walnut). Cannot find much regarding descriptions of standard leather offering. We are new to MB, intend to keep truck for years, to use as daily driver and for off road excursions. Before I add more $$ to the build, a couple of questions:

1) Which is more durable choice of leather?
2) How well will a light colored leather withstand daily use?

You can get the leather treated (or do it yourself); however, a lighter color will always show more use. You could cover the seats when going off-road so go with what you like the best on a daily basis. Personally, I liked the diamond-stitched Napa leather so that is what I picked for my G550 and I love it.
