2016 G550 "Check brake pad wear" Please Help
Your help is very much appreciated.
Last month I had the "check brake pad wear" warning message so I replaced the front brakes on my 2016 G (28k miles) (pads were about 80 percent used). Replaced the wear sensors on the front.
1 month later I got another "Check brake pad wear"
Front pads look great...so I figured I would change the rear pads.
Last night I took them off (only about 50 percent gone)..I ended up putting new pads. Interestingly on the rear...only the rear right (passenger side) has a wear sensor...no sensor on the left. This is the first brake change for the car...so it came from the factory that way.
The "check brake pad wear" message continues to appear....not sure why.
I was under the impression that the warning message would disappear once new wear sensors are installed.
Can something give me a suggestion for a solution?

The warning light might require resetting via the OBD-II. If you've already eliminated this possibilty, check the sensor connectors. A brake pad wear sensor is usually just a loop of wire that wears through and eventually opens an electrical circuit. A faulty connection in a corroded connector can cause the same condition. If the connector contacts appear corroded use some contact cleaner. Beyond this, check the wiring from the connector for damage. If the sensor is a single wire device, it probably requires contact with chassis ground, so make sure its mounting contact area is not corroded, and clean if required.
