Looking for some help. Background is a 2014 G63 and I had installed some aftermarket DRL’s under the headlight (after my OEM got stolen) . Initially the lights worked ok and fairly bright. This was a few months ago and they worked well
issue is that recently I noticed that the DRL’s were not working. On closer examination I noticed that they were actually on , but super dim and that’s why they gave the impression of not being on. In fact to take pictures , I had to turn my garage lights off. Also noted that one of the lights- the passenger side one had one LED that wasn’t working. The pictures look much brighter than reality . In reality I can’t even find my hand in a dark garage. Like 1/10 on brightness compared to original. this is the kind of LED lights that work with a light driver. Are my lights now dim because of the non functional LED on the passenger side and how do I fix it? Or is it a driver problem ? Both light connect to the same driver box.
Can’t officially help but if you wanted you could upgrade to led headlights like the new style. I paid $590sh I think and the DRL ring works on them with car being started with no extra wiring. Simple plug and play plus much brighter.
