Need steering stabilizer part number

Hi ,

im looking to replace the steering stabilizer on my 14 G63, it’s leaking and I get that wobble between 50-60.

does anyone have part number for fox? Is it a direct replacement or do I need to make changes or drill holes?

any comparison between fox or king or bilstein? If any one is better.

thanks

I wrote a post about the Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer here in Post #160 on my build thread. I ordered my stabilizer through JackWagonOverlanding. For your 2014, you probably won't have to drill out the bolt holes as I believe the OE part was updated somewhere in the mid to late 2000's for the larger hardware size. Otherwise, drilling out the 2 holes is pretty quick and painless anyway.

If you're getting any sort of wobble at 50-60, you may want to check the balance on your tires, as the system should work without a steering stabilizer on good roads. Saying that, when I replaced my stabilizer (which was fully leaked out and dead) with the Fox 2.0 stabilizer, it fixed 90% of my steering wobble issues.

thank you. Is the part number for the fox 2.0 - 985-24-145? I found one cheaper at most stores. Just wanting to make sure that it doesn’t need any modification before I install it.

thanks

Not sure of the P/N.

I purchased through jackwagon who drop shipped from Eurowise. Link here.

It doesn't have any P/Ns on the shock itself and the box only had Eurowise P/Ns. But your P/N link does look very similar/identical. It will all depend on the body and stroke length, which I can't comment on unless I remove mine.
