G550 R21 AMG
Hello everyone,I have R21 OEM AMG rims for my G550.Anyone know which tires I should install?Which ones will be the best in driving.315/40/21 or 285/45/21 and what tire pressure should be inflated.Thanks a lot folks

Suggest you start with an online tire dealer such as tirerack.com to see what's available in 21". You can't just slap a set of cool looking tires on any set of wheels and bolt them onto any vehicle. Wheels (rims) and vehicles will accommodate a range of tire widths and diameters. Other factors include driving style, road surfaces, weather conditions and tread wear. Best to discuss all this with a reputable tire dealer who can help you choose. 21" tires seem priced substantially higher, probably due to smaller production quantities. Don't be shocked if the tire you decide on is $400+. Good luck.

The meager selection of brands and tires in 21" is exactly why I have 20" on my G550 and why I changed out the 21" on my Lexus to 20" wheels. Regarding "on what tires the car will stand on the road confidently", I defer to other forum contributors who surely have superior clairvoyance with the ethereal universe of such matters than I.
