Light Malfunction Errors

I have a 2004 G-500 with the facelift and LED lights. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to get rid of the malfunction errors on the dash for the lights?

Buy an OBD code reader, correlate the error code(s) with the problem, fix the problem.

Not sure what the purpose of the ODB scanner would be when the problem is the LED lights pull different current than the OEM halogen bulbs which makes the vehicle think the bulbs are blown or there are no bulbs inserted. I wanna be able to keep the LED lights but get rid of the errors.

So error cancelling resistors will do the trick but you will have to play with values and may also have to do some custom wiring to solve the issues. I calculated the resistance expected by the circuit of the specific light, then figured out the resistor value to add into the circuit, then custom wired things in. I'm in the process of replacing all the exterior lights with LED so this is an ongoing process.

The error you're showing on your dash seems to be from the L mirror LED, which I do not believe is a blub that can be replaced. You should check for loose wires/connectors and fix that, and then tackle them one at a time.

Sorry - misunderstood your OP in not realizing your LEDs are retrofit. Some LEDs are already equipped with resistors to emulate original halogen current. If yours aren't, then the other advisories are correct.
