Doesn't matter though. A $10k shouldn't be rusting after four years/40k miles. A "best or nothing" Mercedes sure as hell shouldn't be either.

We have owned a couple of G wagons and several other MBs , Porsche, VW - the Germans build great vehicles

We have been very successful buying preowned vehicles - research, negotiations and trust that facts matter. The entire system is based on that trust - Carfax, cargurus, vroom, cars.com etc have monetized it. To the consumers advantage I should add.

This deal has gone sideways because an MB dealer
EURO MOTORCARS Germantown MD did not subscribe to that foundational change in how preowned cars are sold- should have been an easy fix

instead they have POd customers and an online rep that has suffered ( for good reason)

The larger issue is the class action against MB for production and QA issues related to the paint and corrosion protection on W463 vehicles
