Paint work on Magno Black Paint
Long story short I had to have a few panels and roof repainted this year. It took the shop two tries but they nailed it. You wouldn’t be able to tell whatsoever. The shop said it was just a few extra steps and wasn’t too bad to do.
Side note: I have family and close friends in the body shop business I’ve learned certifications really don’t mean jack ****. It’s a gimmick like CPO is. All it means is the shop pays a premium to have that certified “tag”. In my area many “certified” shops have gone and come. In addition to the tag the techs are trained to “factory standards” and they have “factory tools”. However some shops are certified but don’t have those techs or tools anymore but did at one point but continue to pay the manufacture “yearly dues” to keep that tag and get business.
I would find a good shop that has good reputation certified or not and use them for your repair.
I had the worst experience ever using Mercedes to do repairs on my vehicle. I ended up having another shop do the majority of the work. The certified shop located at the dealer charged my insurance thousands and thousands in extra unnecessary work that was not needed.
