2016 G63 Fuse box location for Seat lumbar support
Hello,
I recently bought a used 2016 G63 with lumbar support seats. The seats on the passenger and driver side work perfectly fine when moving up/down/forward and back.
The issue i have are with the lumbar adjustments. They seem to not work on both driver and passenger. This make me believe that a fuse is out which control them?
Has anyone had this issue? know where to locate the fuse box in the back near the spare tire/trunk?
The user manual guide suggests there is a fuse box near the spare tire, but since i am a newbie, i was hoping someone here could help?
I strongly believe its the fuse that's out and can simply be replaced. Problem is locating the fuse box in the back, and since im not an car expert id have to refer to the dealer which would charge me a lot to fix this minor issue. I was hoping i could find some DYI on how to access and swap the fuse.
A common failure point on all G's for the multi-contour seat is the air pump goes bad and the air bladders for the seats start falling apart. If after replacing the fuse your pump still does not run, then that will be the issue. It is located next to the battery on the rear passenger side floor.
