New G Wagon owner - looking for interior upgrade kit

Well after years of looking, we finally ran across an exceptional low mileage 2013 G Wagon at the right price. Immediately sold our 2013 ML 350 (at the wrong price but whatever) and while the interior feels very familiar, it is also kind of dated.

I'm wondering what, if any, interior upgrade options exist. I'm most interested in upgrading the infotainment system but open to other possibilities for modernizing an otherwise great ride.

Do a simple search bro plenty of threads and options that’ll lead you in the right direction

You can do the android head unit 12.3” screen which gives you apple CarPlay along with a modern head unit that runs on Android. You can watch movies and browse the Internet and use OBD2 apps/dashcam apps all connected to one unit. You can get it for under $600. Plug and play.

You can upgrade the steering wheel to the 2019 G style. It’s a plug and play upgrade as well. $1500

There is also ambient lighting kit 64 colors that you can install that retrofits the 2019 style ambient lighting inside. It’s plug and play but requires a good amount of disassembly and DIY skills. Kit costs $250.

You can do the digital dash upgrade to have the 2019 style digital gauges. Install isn’t too difficult and the kit ranges from $500-$1200.

Star Headliner like the RR. Cost is $1200 installed.

Other things to do is add a cup holder retrofit where the vent is and wireless charging mat for cell phone. Both are under $200. There’s also rear entertainment screens that mimic and run like factory RSE that cost around $700.

Plenty of options and upgrades available, these are just a few I am doing/looking into.

Where can you get digital gauges? I'd love to have that on my 2010.

I've heard of a number of these but actually finding reputable vendors with good reviews is another thing. I won't be sending some random Chinese company $1000 for unvetted products any time soon. Do you have any vendors for these products that you would recommend?

Well, I looked into all of the above options and decided on the cup holders. Installed them today and they look great. Also ordered some smoke gray replacement turn signals and tail lamp lenses.

As for everything else... well, I'm not looking to have my truck look like a strip club so most of them are off the table. The only other upgrade that looks remotely interesting is the Android infotainment upgrade but looks like people are having a lot problems with them. Not worth the money when Bluetooth works perfectly to connect to my phone.
