Front runner tall roof rack and ladder

Front runner tall roof rack and ladder
I’m thinking of mounting a front runner slimline Tall regular roof rack on my 2013 G550. Does anybody have feed back on this product, installation, issues and/ or utility. The ladder is an add-on is it a must? I’m setting the truck up to tote paddle boards, kayaks, fishing gear etc. any advice is much appreciated!!

I run a FR slimline II on my G55 with a ladder(rear mounted). No issues what so ever. A solid kit. I run a RTT on mine that weighs about 172lbs. As for ladder, especially if you are going to load and unload from the rack often with bulky/heavy stuff, I think a ladder is a good idea....unless you are super tall. Good luck.
