Right rear door will not lock, but will unlock
I understand door actuators are a common failure point on these trucks, but what puzzles me is that the door will unlock with the key fob/lock switch in car but it will not lock. This is the right rear door on a 2011 G550.
I am noticing this door in particular has become much harder to close as well. This was not always the case. Is it possible the striker/latch have something to do with it?
Only other thing to mention is the car just experienced it’s first bout in cold weather. Last few nights it has been 8 degrees and today is about 40. truck is garaged, but it’s detached and not heated.
