Need advice on selling 2020 G63
Hi everyone. Its been 2 years since I bought my 2020 G63. 16k happy miles. I’ve got S580 as a replacement. Looking to sell G63 now and just want to ask y’all what is the best way to do so. Any websites you guys ever used to sell your cars? Never sold my cars before. Always traded in for new vehicles at dealership. With G63 my mercedes dealer’s bid is a joke. That is why I want to try selling it myself. Any info will be helpful.

Where are you located, and what was the dealer's offer? What are the colors/specs of your G63? Expect the offer from the dealer to be about $15,000 less than they plan to sell it for.

If you live in an area where there's a robust exotic car market, you might look into a consignment dealer. You can set a sales price, the dealer will take fixed % commission, you can accept lower offers, you're isolated from the buyer, you won't have to mess with dealer low-ball offers and scammers, and a serious buyer gets to see the truck in person and have an inspection done before writing a check. Despite the current G asking prices, a dealer who buys your truck outright will want to hedge his downside risk, hence your dealer's low bid.
The last vehicle I sold (a Lexus), I sold through a consignment dealer and got 25% more than its trade-in value, even after paying a 10% consignment commission.

You could also list it here and see if you get any bites. Autotrader would also be a good option as suggested. Large markups are still all over so the market for your 2020 should still be very strong.

You could list it on Bring a Trailer. Only cost $99 to list and about $250 to have professional photos taken. I bought two cars and sold one last year on Bring a Trailer. On the car I sold, it sold for way more than I thought it would sell for. Listing on this site also a great idea. All the best on your sale.

Where are you located, what are you looking for from the G, and what was the offer from your dealer?
There are a few specific G Wagen forums where cars are moving quickly for realistic prices but you'll be sifting through the s%!t to find a real buyer at times.

Bring a Trailer seems to bring the best prices and most reliable buyers these days. A lot of high end and rare cars sell there. Direct via a forum is another good option. Don't bother with Auto Traitor or Flea Bay.
