2014 G550 driver’s seat ventilation turns on (can hear fan noise on seat back, but not seat cushion) and then shuts off in 2-3 minutes (lights on button go off too). Passenger seat ventilation turns on and stays on (back and cushion). Running a scan, I get DTC B22D718: “Seat ventilation ‘Left front seat cushion’ has a malfunction. The limit value for current has not been attained.” Given the seat back fan works, but not the seat cushion fan, is this a bad fan, wiring harness or something else? Searching the code on the forums and the web doesn’t find much useful info.

Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: Yes, I know MB ventilated seats aren't that good. Still better than nothing on a hot summer day.
