Anyone know where I can get a replacement Subwoofer?
In my 2004 g500 the subwoofer was making a Geiger Counter radiation sound. I figured it was blown I have the part number here: A463 820 17 02
Everywhere I look it says they have one for 06-2013 models. Anyone know a good site to buy one from or have one laying around I can buy? Thank you!
Mine was shredded and I replaced it with a Kicker 6.75". It was not a 100% drop in as it didn't fit the cutout correctly (I had to enlarge the circular cutout), but it did wire up easily after transferring over the OEM plug and soldering to the speaker terminals. There are other more "drop in" options but you need one that's a Dual Voice Coil with each being 2 ohms. Best option will be to find someone who wants to get rid of their OE unit.
