2004 G500 water issue troubleshooting
I have a 2004 G500 with around 110k miles and am started to have what I believe to be a CAN bus error. It happens only after a hard rain. Whenever I start the car everything is fine then I turn on my headlights and get multiple errors. Instrument cluster visit workshop, high beams flashing, SRS, Brake. My steering wheel buttons stop working as well as windows and a/c. I’ve scanned and gotten. BAS release switch, Steering sensor angle, Fuel tank level, and sometimes more. Has anyone had a similar issue or any troubleshooting suggestions? Obviously water is getting to some wiring but I have removed carpet and seen no sign of water. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

we were unable to find evidence of water intrusion, including at common locations such as wiper pivots.
ultimately, we discovered that the issue was my instrument cluster due to a power transformer malfunction. I sent my cluster off to be rebuilt and the problem was fixed.
