After trying a 2022 I am back to a 2017 G63 which oddly I like more and my pocket liked even better.
I see a lot of Fox or King shock upgrades but was curious if anyone has tried Koni or Bilstein direct bolt in shocks? Am I missing one? I just want a more composed ride and don't want to constantly fiddle or cut anything? 2017 G63

Bilstein B4 are the OEM replacements and the B46 are slightly stiffer. Both won't really net you any improvement in ride quality. I've heard good things about the Koni Raid shocks as making for a more comfortable ride, but have no personal experience. JackWagon Overlanding would be a good resource to bounce ideas off of. The reservoir shocks from Fox, King, and Bilstein are good, but for an added price and added complexity during installation. KW also makes one with adjustable damping that can work with the OE system but those are also pricey.
I was also looking into Renntech as they are bolt on with no mods needed.Thx for the help

I had Fox's on my '13 G63.... and have run Icons, Kings and ADV's on my landcruiser builds.... that said - on my current G55 build Jack suggested the Koni Raids as an option.... and Im truly impressed so far... I have them set in "med" and they're much like the fox's in uteterly changing the ride quality.... wider offset of tires and a bit more sidewall also help.
Worth considering in my mind - and I rarely do a budget option.... jack can walk you thur the best options for your use case.
cheers

I just emailed him and then saw your reply.
The adjustable look great but honestly I like the simplicity of the direct bolt in Koni's. Thanks for the opinion.

DM us for pricing. Thank you~
I have Bilstein B4 shocks with stock G63 springs. They definitely took the edge out of impacts which is what I wanted. I can finally relax in the truck now!
