I just bought an Agency Power exhaust for my 2017 G63. Besides the kit having the installation hardware kit (for the valvetronic function) missing, I am having issue with fitment as shown in the last pic. The exhaust from end to end is 2 inches shorter than factory which prevents me from mating the exhaust to the downpipes. There is at least a 2in. gap and even with some good force to pull them together, they just won't come together without risking the hangar ends from sliding off the rubber mounts.
I also did a test fit using miscellaneous items to prop up the exhaust into the proper position and it looks like the tips are badly sticking out too far from the running board. It also appears the tips are poorly staggered. Is this typical of AP exhaust or did I get a bad "Monday" batch?
Yeah that’s pretty peculiar. Could that exhaust be for a G550? I think G550s have longer downpipes, which would explain the 2” gap. But also the tips sticking out so far is wrong. I considered Agency Power exhaust, but went with Soul Performance, and couldn’t be happier. Soul does quality work and their customer service is top notch! My opinion- return the Agency Power and get Soul Performance!
Not sure but possibly so. I understand AP has 2 different w463 exhaust models, one for G500/G550 square and the other for non square including the G63. There is no telling what they sent. There is no paperwork, receipt, or markings anywhere to indicate what they sent. The customer service through Vivid Racing has been non existent thus far. AP hasn't responded to emails either.
The tips are definitely strang. I haven't seen anyone else with tips that are positioned so distasteful. Not only does it look bad, it poses huge burn risks to my kid when he has to climb over and up the running board.
ThIs exhaust is definitely going back and I'll look into the SP exhaust.
