Drive Cycle detail to pass SMOG Test
I recently bought my dream car -- a 2015 G-550 from out-of-state. I need to pass the smog test issued by California DMV, and it failed the test twice now despite driving "the way it supposed to be". I want to know if anyone knows the specific way to complete a drive cycle so that I can pass the smog test. I don't know if driving 200 miles is actually necessary or not, but I would like to avoid that at the moment since the out-of-state temproary license is expiring soon. Thank you in advance.

1. Saturday: drove 4.6 miles (local, with moderate lights and stop signs, tried to drive around 35 mph or whatever the legal limit is) to Costco and replace all tyres (Engine off).
2. Saturday: from Costco, drove 11 miles (freeway, 65 mph +/- 10 mph depending on sections), get off the freeway and drove another ~5.7 miles (local with some lights and few stop signs). Stop (engine still on) and check for smog test -- not ready/2nd failed. Drove back to parking garage (4 blocks) and done for the day.
3. Sunday: Drove 7.9 miles (~4.5 miles on freeway, ~3.2 miles local -- uphill, with lots of stop signs) to local dealership. (Engine off for ~5 mins).
4. Sunday: drove 4.5 miles (freeway) back to Costco for tyre pressure / lug tightness check. Engine off for ~5-10 mins.
5. Sunday: drove 4.6 miles (freeway) back to home to get paperwork for smog test (engine off for ~5 mins). Back to the smog test station that was a block away. Performed OBDII diagnostics while engine stays on, and then the actual test -- pass! (To my surprise!)
Hope it may help for any folks in the future l!
