W460 engine swap to M113
Hi guys,
I recently bought a W460 230GE LWB, and now looking on swapping the engine. I know that a lot of you guys already did the project. I'm thinking of swapping a M113 4.3 or 5.0 engine. I know the there is a lot of electrical issues with the ECU/ immobilizer ... so my mechanic decided to go with a standalone ECU (link...). Now the main issue is the gearbox, I would like to fit an automatic gearbox. I have checked online... some proposed the 722.6 but we will face an issue with the communication between the ECU and TCU so I thought you guys might have an idea which gearbox will fit without facing a lot of issues may be older generation like the 722.4 (but I'm not sure it will match the m113 ).

i was looking for swapping my M104.996 AMG G36 to M273 engine , But i decided not to touch it as it unique , here are a link for Transmission ECU
