dead battery - can't turn the key
Hi. Newbie question here. I must have left my lights on my 2011 Gwagon and the battery was completely dead. Can't access the battery, because the cover won't come off because there is no power to move the front seats up. Tried a NOCO jump starter to the positive terminal and ground on the driver's side engine bay, but key still won't turn to engage starter and there is still no power. Why am I so dumb and what am I doing wrong here? Most of my cars still have a normal key and not sure why the key won't turn?
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

I have no experience with glove box size jump chargers, but am skeptical of the claims their manufacturers assert. If jiggling the steering wheel a bit doesn't free-up the key, try a jump charge from another vehicle.
