2013 G550 electric issues
We don't drive it that much, noticed issue at start up, figured battery. New battery installed. Indicator on dash: rear tail light, replaced bulb, didn't work. While driving a/c would randomly blow hard, then low. Replaced blower motor valve. Now while driving the dash went dark, then said "auxiliary battery malfunction". Took out both batteries and both test at 12v so they seem to be fine. Any ideas?

hi, we bought a brand new auxiliary battery and we're still having issues. Is it possible that only oem batteries work? We bought this one at interstate batteries and it's the same battery, but not mercedes brand. The car doesn't want to start today.

If the new battery has the same specs as the OE MB branded battery, it should be fine. Did you measure the aux battery's voltage after installing and connecting it, and while trying to start the engine?

the aux battery is in a little black box next to the main battery, so not sure how to check it while engine is on? Something seems to either be draining or not charging the aux battery. I read on here someone had a wire changed out, so maybe that's what my issue is as well. Not sure what wire it would be.
