DC area MB dealer mechanics
I bought mine from Catonsville Mercedes and went back a couple times during my first month of ownership to address some minor issues. The first mechanic that worked on it was terrible and did things like installing the cabin filter backwards, leaving a door handle disconnected, stripping a door trim screw, and using super glue to attach one of the exterior moldings which didn't even work and ended up damaging the clear coat with a layer of permanent white discoloration. I'm pretty shocked they would let this kid work on a $120k vehicle.
Of course, the mechanic who worked on it my second visit was excellent, as I watched him work (from a distance) and saw that he a.) worked meticulously and b.) double-checked everything when he was done. I was so impressed that I talked to him for a few minutes before I left and found him to be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about working on Mercedes. Now you would think that's great, next time I'll just have this guy work on my G, but the problem is the service manager won't let a customer specify which mechanic works on their car. In fact, he got offended/irritated when I asked.
Thanks,
Call/text 571-236-4720 'Warren' from Mosaic Motor. Their info is on the site below. You can let them know i sent you, they are good friends of mine. Just an FYI tho, they are a indy shop. Not a MB dealer, but i always go to them with my service, Mods, or just repairs.
