40,000 Miles g63
Welp, that was quick. Just hit 40k mile mark on my G63. Milage has been exclusively NJ to Vermont roundtrips. While nothing beats the day 1 pickup of the truck new, I got to admit and am still absolutely loving this truck.
Ive been running it with winter tires half the year and the original 22" tires in summer time. Have plenty of life on both. Besides going through rotors often, I have been lucky to experience no other quirks so far (knocks on wood).
I love most how powerful and strong the truck feels more than anything. So many buy the truck because of the status, that's cool. But for me it is the feeling of strength, power and weight that I enjoy so much - it feels reliable. I trust it. Like being in a vault that wont leave me hanging.
It still drives wonderfully on the highway. I think it is more comfortable to sit in for 4 hour drives than my v60 polestar, but the v60 polestar is admittedly easier to drive, less input needed, flickable in a sense.
Anyway - wanted to drop a line at 40k and say hello and that I am still smiling ear to ear!

Nice longer term update.
I find the comparison the exact same, except both of my cars (G55 and Volvo T5M) are from 2005!

Still have the original windshield. I have always kept a clear film on it like Bray to help reinforce it from stones etc. I drive pretty careful too.
