2002 G500 Euro Spec Detailed Photos
Though this is my first post on this forum, I've been lurking for at least a year on this forum and another well known G-Class forum (but that one has register issues, thus preventing me from posting there too). Been around vehicles ever since I was a kid and now having been through many vehicle brands and types (never a MB), I've decided to embark on this project that I hope will soon be mine. The seller is a dear friend, a neighbor in the same building I live in, a mentor to one of my twin boys, and an overall great guy that loves MB products. We reached a verbal agreement back in September and ever since, it has been one delay or another by the mechanic that currently has the vehicle in his shop (if you can even call it a shop). As disastrous as the place may seem, that is just the norm down here in Panama (Central America). Shop belongs to the ex-head mechanic at the local dealer for 20+ years....
I share these pics in case it may help someone identify/see "into" a 2002 W463 G500 Euro Spec. Perhaps it's of help to someone. All I'm trying to do is share some knowledge as a "thanks" to those who have shared info which I have valued greatly as it has served me quite a bit. WARNING: not for the faint of heart.... it is what it is and as soon as it's officially mine, I'll be posting some questions about "next steps".....
