Fogging or condensation in headlight lenses normal or something to get fixed? (2021)
Hey all. I noticed this the other day and remembered my brother mentioning he had issues with the headlights getting frozen up with ice in cold weather and not being able to project light normally. Should this be doing this? We also had this tick tick tick under the car (more pronounced when the vehicle is in normal mode vs sport mode) that dealer said was normal and other cars do it. Figured I should ask for feedback on that too.

I'm no expert, but I have yet to see any headlight that has condensation, especially to that degree, and work out in the long term.....
On a separate note, would you mind sharing what color is on your G?

I used to own a Cayenne Turbo with xenons on it and once condensation/moisture started to appear, it was all downhill with electrical glitches. After many months of battling with the dealer, they agreed to change the lamp that was affected and all electrical gremlins were gone... The same exact thing happened with a 911 C4S I also used to own. A Range Rover I was considering purchasing before committing to the G500 I did, had moisture in both headlights and it was throwing an error code on the display. That said, one of my kids' vehicles had a very small amount of condensation near the LED DRL (think the size of a penny...) part of the headlight and never had any issues.
Thanks for the response regarding the color. That color always messes me up... Sometimes it looks black, sometimes gray, others "somewhere in between"
