Wiring up some pod lights

Does anyone have experience wiring up pod lights?

After months of looking I decided to go with some inexpensive but well rated lights on Amazon. I'd like to get some Light cannons down the road but these will suffice for now.

I can take it to a local shop I know to get them wired up but I'd like to know if it's something I can do myself. I bought a wiring harness specifically recommended for the lights I bought.

What are you looking to use for a switch.... and are you planning to have more then one set of lights.... if so, to minimize the challanges of getting thru the firewall for multiple switches/ harness I'd suggest something like and S-Pod or Switch pro.... or a chepaer version like i wnet with - Auxbeam.... it has all the needed function jsut not the app and flashing etc....

My build plan has 5-6 groupings plus a bar so I chose to save bit on the switch panel to spend more on the Baja Designs goodies..... certainly consider them as well as the Light Cannon's - I had a set of the 8" LC's on my old Landcruiser and the baja designs LP6's put them to shame both in coverage, punch and light tone....

Cheers

Just one set in the middle of the brush guard.

I want to keep it as simple as possible. I’m going to go with a basic wiring harness and a simple switch. I’m not sure how I’ll wire the switch into the cabin though.

if it's simple pair only, you may be able to repurpose your switched foglights with a jumper to a powered relay and add those into the system.... that would save the firewall hurdle ! Slee offreoad and a few others in the Landcruiser world offer a dedicated harness for jsut this... there maybe a generic supplier as well.
